The terms, in plain language
The short version
- Your text is yours, and so are the results. Review every result before you use it.
- Follow the rules of your school, employer or publisher. Don't use HumanProse for academic dishonesty where it is prohibited, or for anything illegal or harmful.
- We don't promise that any text will pass an AI detector or plagiarism checker.
- Payments are made by transfer and checked by our team. Plans do not renew automatically. If you paid by mistake, tell us within 7 days.
Agreeing to these terms#
These terms are an agreement between you and the people who run HumanProse (humanprose.org), referred to as "HumanProse", "we" and "us". By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you do not agree, please do not use HumanProse.
What HumanProse does#
HumanProse is an editing tool. You give it English text, choose a writing mode and a few preferences, and it returns a rewritten version that aims to be clearer and more natural while keeping your meaning. Follow-up tools can rewrite again, adjust the tone, correct grammar, summarise, expand or translate.
The rewriting is done by an AI model (Google Gemini). AI output can be wrong: it can change a meaning, drop a detail, or state something that is not true. HumanProse is a writing aid, not a source of facts, and it does not give legal, medical, financial or academic advice.
Your account#
- You must be at least 13 years old to use HumanProse. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
- Give accurate details, and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- An account is for one person. Don't share it or create extra accounts to get around free limits.
- If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and contact us.
Responsible use#
Review every generated result before using it. You remain responsible for factual accuracy, citations, plagiarism rules, academic or workplace policies, and any decisions made from the generated text.
When you use HumanProse, you agree not to:
- submit work that HumanProse helped write where your school, university, employer or publisher prohibits that kind of help, or present it in a way that breaks their rules;
- create content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, hateful or harassing, or that is meant for spam, phishing, fraud or impersonation;
- submit text you do not have the right to use, or text that includes other people's private information without a lawful reason;
- try to break, overload or probe the service, get around word limits or rate limits, access other people's accounts or data, or use bots or scripts to send requests;
- copy, resell or offer HumanProse as part of another service without our written permission.
Your text and the results#
You keep ownership of the text you submit. As far as the law allows, the results produced for you also belong to you, and you may use them as you wish, within these terms.
You give us permission to store, process and send your text only as needed to run HumanProse for you: producing results, keeping your documents, providing support and keeping the service secure. This includes sending it to Google's Gemini API, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim any other rights in your writing, and we do not use it to train AI models.
You confirm that you have the right to submit the text you give us. Because AI systems can produce similar wording for different people, we cannot promise that a result is unique.
No guarantees about AI detectors#
HumanProse is built to improve clarity, tone and flow. It is not designed or sold as a way to avoid AI detectors or plagiarism checkers, and we make no promise that any text will pass one. Detection tools disagree with each other and change often, and their results are outside our control. A result flagged by a detector is not a fault in the service and is not a reason for a refund.
Plans, word limits and credits#
- Guests can try one rewrite of up to 400 words without an account.
- A free account includes one successful rewrite of up to 400 words.
- Paid plans (Starter, Pro and Creator) give a set number of words for 30 days and a maximum number of words per request, as shown in the pricing section of our home page. Unused plan words do not roll over to the next 30-day period.
- Word credits are a one-time purchase. They do not expire and are used when you have no plan words left or no active plan.
- Words are counted on the text you submit. If a request fails and no result is returned, its words are not charged.
Prices are shown in Israeli shekels (₪) on the pricing section. We may change plans and prices for future purchases; a change never affects a plan or credits you have already paid for.
Payments and renewals#
For now, payments are made manually. You transfer the exact amount by bank transfer or e-wallet using the details shown when you choose a plan, then send us the receipt, for example on WhatsApp. Our team checks the payment and activates the plan or credits on your account, usually within a working day.
- Plans do not renew automatically, and we never charge you without your action. We send a reminder by email shortly before a plan ends. To continue, pay again for the next 30 days.
- We will only ask you to pay to the details shown on HumanProse. We will never ask for your card number, your password or a verification code.
- If a receipt cannot be verified, we may contact you for more details before activating anything.
Refunds#
If a payment was made in error, for example a duplicate transfer, a wrong amount or the wrong plan, contact us within 7 days of the payment. Refunds are reviewed case by case, taking into account whether the plan or credits have been used. Approved refunds are returned by the same method where possible. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
Suspension and closing an account#
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or uses a payment that turns out to be invalid. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we suspend an account by mistake, we will restore it.
You can stop using HumanProse at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to the service#
We work to keep HumanProse available and reliable, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may need to pause it for maintenance, and we may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces a paid plan you are currently using, we will offer a fair solution, such as extra time or credits.
Our responsibility to you#
HumanProse is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we do not give warranties about the results, including that they are accurate, original or suitable for a particular purpose.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost grades, lost income or lost opportunities, that come from using the service or from relying on its results. Our total responsibility for any claim related to HumanProse is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to.
Changes to these terms#
We may update these terms as HumanProse changes. When we do, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also tell signed-in users by email or with a notice on the site before they take effect. If you keep using HumanProse after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
Contact and disputes#
If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly by talking to us, and we will try in good faith to resolve any complaint. Message us on WhatsApp at +972 59 236 7313.
